Q: Tell us a little about yourself and how you got into filmmaking.

We are a filmmaking duo based in São Paulo, Brazil. While we both have been working together for a number of years, primarily in cinema and music videos, we only adopted the duo's name two years ago when we began working with advertising as well.

Q: Who or what inspires you in your craft?
​
Having always loved movies, I guess we can say we are inspired by a myriad of filmmakers, to many to list here. That and looking for stories that may seem hermetic at first, approaching them looking for the universal in it.

Q: Tell us about your film, what its themes mean to you and what you hope others take away from it.
​
Our film could be considered a fly on the wall, observational documentary ". But in dealing with a country that is so shrouded in mystery, our main focus was to observe the day-to-day life in Pyongyang, something rarely shown. Rather than focusing on the monuments, we tried to look at the people of North Korea. Ultimately, our aim is to immerse the spectators in those surroundings.

Q: What's next for you?
​
We are currently finishing ou second short-film, which deals with the trajectory of two rival muay thai fighters on the final moments before their fight. It is set in the coastal city of Santos. And we were shooting our third, but it had to be put on hold due to the pandemic.
